Oak Handle Chopping Board 50cm

Our Handle Chopping Board has been hand carved in Thailand using solid Oak wood and given a softly bevelled edge with an elongated cut out handle.

Finished with a delicate leather hang tie and subtly embossed TCS branding this timeless kitchen essential is as versatile as it is hardwearing. The perfect tool for preparing and chopping ingredients or serving up anything from canapes to cheese or cold meats. When not in use it looks just as beautiful on display to show off the natural texture and grain of the wood.

Care Instructions

Wooden items used for the preparation or serving of food should be washed by hand under running water, using mild, colourless dish soap, and dried immediately using a cloth or paper towel. If the item does not need to be thoroughly washed, a dry or tightly wrung clean cloth or sponge can be used.

When cleaning chopping boards, both sides of the board should be washed to avoid the wood drying unevenly and warping.

Do not soak wood or clean wooden items in a dishwasher, this can result in the wood splitting or warping.

To maintain the quality and condition of the wood, we recommend occasionally applying a small amount of food-safe mineral oil using a cloth or paper towel. It's also recommended to very occasionally resurface the board using a fine grit paper before re-oiling. Leave the oil to dry before using.
